About Us
The fundraising team at St. William of York is a group of parishioners who are keen to
produce interesting and fun ways of raising additional funds to improve our church.
The fundraising team aims to implement at least four activities during the calendar
year and is always looking for helpers.
What we do
We meet at Cafe York or in the Upper Parish meeting rooms to discuss and agreed
viable ideas and who will lead and or take responsibility for an event and then in
collaboration with the Parish secretary agree best dates for roll out of the activities. We
also work closely with the Communications Group to ensure our events are well
publicised.
Who can get involved
Anyone in the Parish who thinks fundraising is something they would enjoy being part
of. No qualifications are required, just a happy disposition and a ‘can do’ attitude.
