About Us
The Confirmation team is a small group of volunteers who meets with young people in year 10+ who wish to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. The sessions run once a month from January to May, on a Sunday evening for about an hour. We also aim to organise retreats (1 day or weekend) at least twice during the length of the course.
What we do
We share our Catholic Faith, our beliefs and our experiences through presentations, discussions, games and activities supported by the Catechism of the Catholic Church and a broad range of resources.
Who can get involved
As we all know, adolescence is the age of enquiring minds and occasional doubts, therefore we welcome anyone who enjoys being around young people and would like to share their experiences about how they live their faith and how they came to strongly believe, inspiring the young people to seek God in their everyday life. No previous experience in teaching necessary, just enthusiasm and goodwill.
