Archbishop John has sent a Pastoral Message concerning Called to Bear Fruit, which reflects upon the consultation undertaken across the Archdiocese, the work already under way, and the continuing discernment concerning the next phase of missionary renewal.
In the autumn, a further document will be presented to deanery conferences for prayerful consideration and discussion. This will offer reflections looking towards the practical implementation of Called to Bear Fruit across the parishes and communities of the Archdiocese. The process will continue in a synodal spirit of prayerful listening, shared participation, and communion, attentive to the differing circumstances of each local community.
