Canon Alan Mclean RIP

It is with great sadness that we announce that Canon Alan died on Friday morning in his presbytery at Dockhead.

A great friend and much loved priest known to many through his wonderful ministry of music and pastoral care over many years.

He served at our parish from 1986 – 1993

Please keep Canon Alan and his family and all those who knew and loved him in your thoughts and prayers.

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS

The Most Holy Trinity Church,  39 Dockhead, SE1 2BS

The reception of Canon Alan’s body into the Church will be at 7.30pm on Thursday 2nd July.  There will then be a Parish Mass celebrated by Canon Michael Branch and Fr Dermott O’Gorman.

Following the Mass, the church will be open for private prayer until 9.45pm when there will be Night Prayer before the church is locked.

The funeral will be on Friday 3rd July at 11am. 

The main celebrant will be Archbishop John Wilson.It is anticipated there will be a large number of people at the funeral.          For those unable to be present, the Mass will be live-streamed via this link

We will be live-streaming the funeral in our church from 10.50am on Friday 3rd July,  gathering as a parish family remembering and giving thanks for our much loved Canon Alan, and supporting one another in prayer and care.  All welcome
