About Us
We are a small dedicated team from the Parish.
What we do
We are responsible for counting all the monies collected during and after all weekend masses. We also count all monies collected at special celebrations. i.e. Christmas and Easter masses.
We are also responsible for banking money received via the Parish Office. This includes mass stipends and any donations.
After all the money is counted and balanced it is prepared for banking.
We keep a monthly record for all Gift Aided money (to enable a 25% claim back from HMRC).
We liaise closely with the Parish Priest and the Parish secretary to ensure all monies are allocated to the appropriate section.
How you can get involved
This small and dedicated team have a longstanding and established system in place and therefore do not require any additional support.
In the event this changes in the future, a notice in the Parish newsletter will be advertised.
