On Saturday, 29th March, our parish First Holy Communion children, their parents, siblings and catechists went on pilgrimage to St George’s Cathedral as part of our celebration of the Jubilee Year of Hope.
They visited the Cathedral, passing through the Jubilee door, and had a tour of the Cathedral, its chapels and shrines, exploring its history.
Led by their Catechists and Fr Habte they prayed and reflected on hope.
Finally, we had some quality social time on the grounds of the Imperial War Museum.
Many thanks to those who worked so hard to organise the pilgrimage and to the Cathedral administrators and volunteers who welcomed us.
