You are invited to join the Youth Group! It’s a great place to to take part in a range of activities, socialise with friends and make new ones. Why not come and check it out? Details of dates are always in the parish bulletin.
We welcome any young person aged 11-17 who would like to take part in any current activities, parish life or has suggestions about future activities.
We are a small team who meet once a month usually on the first Friday of every month (this may change occasionally due to school holidays). We meet in the upper hall from 18:00 – 20:00.
We provide a safe place for young people to mingle, play games, listen to music, have some snacks and lots more. We often have discussions which are based around their age and social issues which can be linked to our religious beliefs. Anyone who enjoys working with young people, or anyone who would like to try. No experience is necessary, just bring yourself, your talents, and your skills.
(As required when working with children, a DBS disclosure and barring service certificate will be sought by the church).
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”

At St William of York Primary School, we are committed to ensuring that we provide a safe, nurturing, positive and inclusive experience for our children, parents and staff. We aim for excellence in all that we do and encourage our pupils to achieve their full potential. We work in partnership with parents to celebrate the uniqueness of every child and embrace the individual gifts and talents of all of those in our school community. We are an inclusive school and we welcome families of all faiths, or no faith at all.
